A solution was invented for this problem: some good guys from california invented the NING platform.
Ning allows you to create your own social networks and join and participate in other networks. There are different features available that allow you to read news or learn about related events, join groups, read and comment on blog entries, view photos and videos, and other activities as set up by the network creator. RSS feeds let users subscribe to updates from specific parts of the social network.
In one word.. you can do whatever you like..

Today.. BitDefender 2010 version was officially launched simultaneously in 6 corners of the world

This version comes with a lot of changes and improvements in usability, design, a new e-commerce provider, on others.. For more details.. you can check out the press release.

Personally.. I really like the new interface.. It’s blueish.. and they finally got rid of all that gray And about all its improvements.. only time will tell just how good they are.. And of course.. independent tests

But I don’t doubt it.. 2009 products were very good.. 2010 will be just as good.. and with a twist.. of lemon

Who ever thought that one could earn money just by hanggin’ on yahoo messanger, or gtalk.. or skype.. I didn’t..
But today i got a presentation on social media networks.. and i was presented Status Pimp .

It’s a Romanian project.. interesting project.. and on their site you can find every information you need.. There’s nothing new i can give you that isn’t already there..

why social networking is not the best option!! August 10, 2009

everyone knows that Twitter faced a “denial-of-service” attack last Thursday.. more exactly.. computers infected with malware floded twitter’s servers.. and they crashed.. (why don’t people learn their lesson and install an antivirus!!??!!!)
what were the consequences? well.. everyone that lives their life depending on social networking felt lost.. lost in translation.. (do you remember that movie?)
do you think that’s good? i don’t! one should not depend on so untouchable things..
that’s why i only use my facebook account from time to time.. and i rarely post on twitter
what happened to the old fashion “writing a letter”? i should answer that myself.. it takes to much time!!
and of course.. we live our lives on fast-forward! why? because if we do otherwise.. we’ll be lost too..
stupid paradox!

No more malware! July 31, 2009

Well,well, well.. it’s a known fact that we live in dangerous times! And I’m not  talking about the threats out there.. I’m talking about theats in here Yes.. viruses, spam, hackers, phishing and the list goes on..  They are generic called malware. And they are dangerous! Maybe more dangerous than a crazy man with a gun

The crazy man with a gun might kill 10 people before he’s hunted down by the police.. but a crazy man that spreads malware will definetely infect thousands of computers and he might never be found

To stay protected.. one needs a good security software.. And I discovered 3 months ago BitDefender 2009. I had BitDefender before.. I mean.. a few years back.. but I wasn’t quite pleased with it.. Slow computer.. the antivirus slowed it down even more.. and I decided not to use any protection at all.. But back then.. there weren’t so many viruses.. But now there are!

Blackberry Thunder. Thunder and lightning July 15, 2009

My boyfriend is a BlackBerry fan.. he changed 3 models.. and now he’s using BlackBerry Bold.
For some time.. I wanted to have a BB.. just for the wifi.. and internal IM.. But I think they look too heavy.. and bold.. and mannish.. And I’m still a Nokia fan.
Yet.. this new BlackBerry Thunder looks great. And I bet it feels great too. Can’t wait for my bf to turn to this one
Here are some details I found about the new BB:
* Tactile Response – when you press on the Thunder’s screen, it pushes in “just” a little bit (the whole screen is sort of like a big button) and you get immediate “real” feedback – you hear an audible clickety sound, and can feel a buzz in your finger where you actually pressed on the display.
* Full QWERTY and SureType entry – hold the phone in landscape mode and you can take advantage of a full-qwerty keypad. Use the phone in portrait mode and you can enter data on a SureType keyboard. You will be able to choose/change your screen/keyboard orientation at anytime.
* Screen is made of glass and will feature multi-touch – the Thunder is said to be utilizing WebKit for it’s browser engine (same as the iPhone), so hopefully that means a solid web browsing experience for the Thunder.
Maybe it will even beat the iPhone!! who knows..

One can subscribe to his favourite sites through his Google account. Once subscribed, the list of articles will apear in Google Reader. You can also save and manage articles. This feature can even be used instead of bookmarking. Another interesting thing is that you can share all links and feeds with friends.
